Knox/East Tennessee Healthcare Coalition Hosts Field Day – Resource Display

On September 18, 2025, the Knox/East Tennessee Healthcare Coalition (KETHC) hosted a Field Day – Resource Display in recognition of Emergency Preparedness Month. The event brought together a wide variety of partners and highlighted the importance of cooperation, communication, and readiness across our region.

Participants and visitors had the opportunity to explore resources and capabilities from the Knox/East TN Healthcare Coalition, Emergency Medical Services, Fire Departments, Law Enforcement, Emergency Management Agencies, the East Regional Health Department, Knox County Health Department, State of TN Emergency Preparedness, and Amateur Radio teams.

The event welcomed members of KETHC/CMS groups, emergency responders, representatives from the City of Knoxville and Knox County governments, TEMA, the State Guard, and members of the public. This diverse turnout underscored the shared commitment across agencies and the community to strengthen emergency preparedness and response.

The Field Day – Resource Display served as more than just a showcase of vehicles, equipment, and tools—it was a clear demonstration of the resources available to support both emergencies and planned events.

We are especially grateful to our volunteers and partner organizations who made this event possible. Your support is vital in carrying out our mission of promoting and enhancing the well-being of the community’s healthcare system.

This event truly represented emergency preparedness and cooperative partnerships at their best
