The Knox/East Tennessee Healthcare Coalition has added a new regional resource: inflatable shelters/tents.
We currently have two inflatable shelter units available for regional use:
Medium Shelter
- 25’ L x 18’ W x 10’ H
- Can be fully inflated in approximately 8–10 minutes once unrolled
Small Shelter
- 16’Lx14’Wx8.7’H
- Can be fully inflated in approximately 5-7 minutes once unrolled
These shelters are versatile assets that can support both planned events and emergency incidents, including:
- Medical treatment tent
- Command post
- Rehab tent
- Drive-thru medication dispensing site
- First aid operations
- Other response/support functions
The tents include supporting equipment such as:
- Air pumps
- Pressure monitoring pump
- LED lighting
