July 8, 2017 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Registrations are closed for this event

Greetings,

The National Weather Service in Morristown, TN is presenting a spotter talk for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community in Chattanooga, TN. This email is to inform you of this opportunity, and ask for  your help advertising the event.

The talk will be held on July 8th, 2017 from 1 pm – 3 pm EDT. The announcement is attached below. Interpreters and CART services will be provided, and WeatherAlert Radios, provided by Hamilton County 9-1-1 and Hearing Loss Association of America, Chattanooga Chapter, will be raffled at the talk.

We are asking that everyone that is planning to attend email (jessica.winton@noaa.gov) by June 28th, so they have an idea of the facilities needed. Any advertising you might be able to do would be greatly appreciated! If successful, plans for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Spotter Talks in Knoxville and Tri-Cities will be organized.

Please let me know if you have any questions! Thank you for your time.
