Infection Control in LTC Workshop

WHATInfection Control in Long Term Care, an educational workshop for personnel working in infection prevention in LTC (including skilled nursing, assisted living or Nursing Homes)

10/23/17 @ Upper Cumberland Regional Health Office, Cookeville, TN

10/24/17 @ Walters State Community College, Morristown, TN


WHYTo strengthen infection prevention training and education in long term care and ensure IP’s understand the core elements to implement and manage an infection control program.


Program agenda includes: 

  • Core elements of an infection control program
  • Surveillance and definitions for LTC
  • Basic Microbiology and Epidemiology Review
  • Much, much more!


Registration Fee:  Funded by the Tennessee Department of Health
