Emergency Medical Management of Radiation Accident Victims (REAC/TS)

February 27 @ 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Course sign-in and paperwork will begin 15 minutes prior to class start time. This will be hosted at the Radiation Emergency Assistance Center/Training Site (REAC/TS) in Oak Ridge.

This course provides awareness level information and is intended for all levels of emergency healthcare providers, emergency management, and public health professionals. The course includes an overview of health physics and emphasizes the practical aspects of initial pre-hospital/ hospital management of irradiated and/or contaminated patients through lectures and a hands on exercise.

The Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) designates this live activity for a maximum of 3.5 ACCME AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s) TM.

Class size is limited so please register early for your selected date/time.
