Pediatric medical emergencies can happen at any time. When they do, the children of our community are counting on your team to be prepared to help them. As the only Comprehensive Regional Pediatric Center in the region, East Tennessee Children’s Hospital (ETCH) is dedicated to ensuring emergency medical providers within Region II are prepared to recognize and treat pediatric medical emergencies.
ETCH is proud to offer an array of pediatric classes, simulations and logistical support to aid facilities and EMS agencies with the information needed to provide excellent pediatric emergency care. While certification courses follow content outlines, simulations and lectures can be adjusted to meet the learning needs of your team. Logistical support helps to ensure facilities are ready for site surveys as well as the unexpected pediatric mass casualty event. All pediatric content can be tailored for nurses, pre-hospital providers, doctors and hospital administrators as needed.
